About us

History

The founders of The Ministry of Reconciliation in Jesus Christ Fidele Mbaiornom and his family started off from the garage. Services were taking place at 4 Gundry Court, Kearney Springs, QLD, 4350 in 2009. It started with 10 members, and the current pastor (Fidele Mbaiornom) met with a gentleman by the name Nestor Kangudia. Fidele Mbaiornom shared his vision of opening a church with Nestor Kangudia in 2011.

Nestor Kangudia supported Fidele Mbaiornom’s vision and The Ministry of Reconciliation was officially opened in 2011. The Ministry of Reconciliation in Jesus Christ then moved to USQ and fellowshipped at K block, room 5 for 4 years. The Ministry of Reconciliation in Jesus Christ went through many challenging moments, including relocating to L block, room 206. The Ministry of Reconciliation in Jesus Christ had its trying moments and still going through, but is surviving and touches the life of people, and intends to touch many more on an international level, by the power of God. The main purpose of The Ministry of Reconciliation in Jesus Christ is to win souls for the kingdom of God, by reconciling with Jesus Christ and evangelising to people.

Our Mission

The main mission of our Church is evangelization. Our mission is based on the doctrine of Christ Jesus.

Matthew 4:17 – From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.” Jesus called us and send us to go everywhere to announce the good news of the Kingdom of God. To announce the good news to all that Jesus is the Son of God. he died crucified on the cross and resurrected from death.
Jesus is Lord and saviour of the world, Jesus saves all who believe in Him. Romans 5:10 – For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. Matthew 28:19 – Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son
and of the Holy Spirit.

Vision

The reason that God set up this church is to reconcile with his people. Those who believed in Him, but now they are not
today because they have been caught in Satan’s traps and those that never knew Him. God has made us his apostle to continue his work.
Apostle Paul said in Romans 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile”.
2 Corinthians 5:20 – Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg
you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
